1 (21 oz) can apple pie filling 

1 (18 oz.) box spice cake mix or yellow cake mix **

1 c. melted margarine 

1/2 c. chopped pecans


Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Pour pie filling into greased 9 x 13-inch pan. 

Sprinkle dry cake mix over filling. 

Pour melted margarine over cake mix and top with nuts. 

Bake for 30 to 40 minutes. 

** If you use yellow cake mix: add ¼ c. of sugar, 1 t. ground cinnamon and ½ t. ground cloves
