1/2 c. margarine
Heat oven to 350°F. In 9x13 inch pan, melt butter in oven.
Sprinkle brown sugar evenly over melted butter.
Drain pineapple slices (save
liquid for cake batter).
Place cherry in center of each pineapple slice.
Prepare cake mix as directed on package but substitute reserved liquid plus water instead of plain water.
Bake about 40 minutes or until toothpick in center comes out clean. Let stand 5 minutes and invert onto large serving plate or cookie sheet. Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream.
